About

Welcome to Chicago Pizza Girl’s blog!

My name is Lindsay and yes, I am a pizza-a-holic! Anyone that knows me, clearly knows about my obsession with pizza. I figured as often as I eat and enjoy pizza, I might as well start blogging about my experiences. I thought it would be a fun idea to share my stories, recipes and love of pizza with all of you. In this blog you will find anything and everything pizza related – from rating different pizza places around the city and states to sharing recipes and photographs of all the homemade pizzas I experiment with and enjoy.

Hope you all enjoy the posts!

Hey Chicago Pizza Girl – found your blog by suggestion of a mutual friend of ours, Aditya. Wow – excellent blog and I share both your passion for pizza and agree with you on much of what I’ve read so far. Cool. I’ve just recently started a general food blog and will be adding a bunch of pizza related content, so drop in here every now and then:

Lately (over the past year), my quest has been to perfect *my* 5 slice rated pizza of all time, Edwardo’s Stuffed Spinach Souffle pizza, in my home kitchen. I think I have the final formulation and technique locked down. It’s consistent from batch to batch and virtually indistinguishable from one that was made in the restaurant. I have very good experience with creating a Lou’s clone too. I have several albums of pizza photos on my Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/ElevenBravo

Anyway, I could babble on and on so I’ll shut up now. Nice to have found you! :)

That’s awesome that you have come close to creating a Lou’s clone! I would love to hear what you use/and how you make it!! Do you have the recipe that you could share? Please please please! :) I’ve been dying to know how to replicate their pizza. I like your blog too. Nice work! I’ll have to try that one from Eduardo’s too. I’ll definitely add it to my list of pizzas to blog about.
